This small glacial erratic strands watch over the Tuolumne Meadows. Though this particular stone might be a bit smaller than the rocks usually designated “erratic” by the classic description but it still illustrates the concept. Erractice are
usually singular boulders differ from surrounding rocks in size, shape and type and orientation.
